It seems pretty simple to me: Apple pays less and won't pay more. The worker in China has a lifestyle that Americans want to avoid. Asking for the job back from the worker in China probably isn't going to do it.

No one can say what the next economy will be like. However, one thing is certain, a well-educated population will be able to take advantage of the next economy. The US needs to stop trying to do more with less in education. Class sizes need to be reduced. Kids learn when good teachers can interact with them. Education means more to the national security and future of the US than the war in Afghanistan. We should act like it.
