I'm taking a class of that name and it's been a very enjoyable one. The course covers everything from production, processing, and marketing of food. It also covers how legislastion by the FDA/USDA is implemented and how it is influenced by agribusiness and the food industry. Later on in the course international problems are discussed; world hunger, land availability, and achieving food sovereignty but I have yet to reach that.

In the zip, is the collected readings as well as a reading list made up from our syllabus. "The Omnivores Dilemma" is the "textbook" with the pdf's being supplemental reading along the way.

I put this together for u/ijustcantanymore (I dunno how to tag people) but I thought others might enjoy it as well.
