I haven't read much Plantinga since I dismissed his renovation of the ontological argument in a senior philosophy paper, so I surely couldn't guess how much we have in common these days, ideologically speaking. Demonstrating the compatibility of science and theism is important work, though, and I'm glad to see such a well-respected member of the academic philosophy community taking it up. The mere fact that he "accepts the theory of evolution, 'as all Christians should'" is reason to celebrate.

mk: I'm happy that he accepts the theory of evolution, but I wonder how he'd explain it. I think people misinterpret the word 'selection'.

I do have to say it rubs me wrong that he believes that since I am an agnostic, my sensus divinitatis is dysfunctional. That seems a bit condescending. Maybe his sensus divinitatis is hyperactive?
