lessismore: To be honest, most of the electronics are already relatively long lasting. It is this notion of keeping up with the Joneses and having the latest and greatest that is causing so much electronic waste.

My 2012 resolution will be not to upgrade any of my electronics unless they break and cannot be repaired.
