Life is weird... we live in our own little overlapping circles... family, friends, work, hobbies, religion, clubs.... and normally, for me, those circles ebb and flow as far as time/energy commitments go. a given week might be a busy church week, but work is slow. Sometimes two areas might feel busy... this week ALL OF THE CIRCLES ARE DEMANDING ALL OF THE TIME. but it's ok... lots of good things happening... just lots right now.
I love you both.
hope you're ok!
It's precisely this kind of shit that keeps me coming back for more updates. I don't even know what a 5-axis drag knife is... but hanging around you Ima bout to learn... I will be able to do obnoxious things like configure it as a 5-axis drag knife, which is a device that no one in the world has ever made.
I went to a show a few weeks ago to see a favorite of mine: Top to Toe There was a woman working the merch table before the show - I bought a few things and she was nice. About 20 minutes later, she stepped up on the stage... The Question American Novella During her set she mentioned having to split with the tour and head back home to Portland... at no point did she mention SHE WAS ABOUT TO GO DO THE TINY DESK CONCERT! I am so excited for her. I see her play count on Spotify and wonder how the numbers are so low...maybe not for long? Tiny Desk
after touring the carillon at my alma matter I have been blown away by the whole instrument experience. Watching you play is mesmerizing. Thanks so much for sharing this.
I remember driving home one day and shazam-ing a great song on the local jazz station only to see that it was Ike Turner and reflecting on the fact that I only ever knew him as the guy who abused Tina... and nothing about his body of work.Ike after Tina was a hollowed out shell of a man who's shattered reputation meant that his artistry was never again appreciated by polite society.
I just laser engraved concrete
you should be buzzing... that hike looks amazing.
That pumped me upFeeling bullish even though the world is on fire.
#whyigotintocrypto still waiting for the invite though...talk about the drug fueled Bahamian orgies
It’s been me all along. Now I’m back from the dead to pump up my old shit.

Have you every bombed three fairly big things at work... in a row... on the same day? I have. I'll go crawl under a rock for the afternoon.
don't you digitile me!
I had no idea you played the carillon! Well done!
thanks for the tag, and thanks for continuing this conversation. What little I understand of blockchain is because of conversations like this. So please keep asking and seeking to understand. and thanks 'bl00 for the ever-awesome examples.
yah... tell mk that if you're the sole post-er, he's got to put that heading at the top. I posted it before I saw your post. c'mon mk...
you've really got something here. It blows my mind that you can go weeks or months without writing music and then sit down and crank out something like this. I think I've listened at least four or five times today and my ears pick up something new each time. Well done my friend.
understood... the photos showed (what looked like) a lot of very still water. But I'm sure people smarter than me can figure that out. Even small solar powered fountains can prove disruptive enough for eggs. Or perhaps the right mix of fish or plants could deter. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
joking aside... sorry man. legit - you're always welcome in Denver. We'll leave the light on for you. It feels like Texas is that family of redheads in Billy Madison just chanting "O'Doyle Rules!!" as they drive their station wagon off the cliff.
some REM: Some Siouxsie: and this song which has been stuck in my head... have a few versions:
this is a weird list... it's from so many generations of music that I'm not sure I can make sense of it. If I look at it the other direction - and start from the descriptions to determine which Sad Dad Band represents me... I guess I have a lot of favorites. or maybe I'm just seriously injured and lost in the woods. regardless - I got a few moments of out loud laughter form this. Thanks TNG!
I'm still eyeballing some of the vintage Porsche kits... I won't pull the trigger, but it's fun to look. What I'd really like would be a speedster kit to fit on a Miata chassis. Japanese reliability with vintage Porsche styling? yes please.surf kit cars on eBay
So incredibly satisfying
