That is completely awesome. Please hire a better UI/design guy.

Not having panic attacks every day.

And being able to eat whatever I want and not get fat.

Thank you! I don't think I'll be trying it, but good to have the info and the link.

Agreed. We set goals without realizing it every day.

"I'm going to get the laundry done by 5 so I can watch [insert tv show/sports game/whatever] and not feel guilty."

"I'm going to go to the next PTA meeting, so I can be more involved."

"I'm going to go to work tomorrow so I can feed my family."

I think it's healthy to view it both ways. The journey is important, but so is the goal. It's wise to keep your eye on the end result, while still living in the moment as you venture down the path towards it.

I never can understand all the hate for Florida. What's the deal?

Thanks! There goes my afternoon :)

There must be more to the story. Reddit has plenty of users who submit their own content (some even do so exclusively) who aren't banned and generally liked by the community. I won't name names, but it just makes me think that there's something else to this that we don't know.

I only know of him from his vblog "shows" on YouTube, which I haven't watched in years! This must be his effort at a comeback. He is just a candidly funny, satirical, intelligent, unblinking dude who makes me laugh. Look him up, "The Show with Ze Frank".

> Life isn't just a sequence of things waiting to be done.

So very true. I tend to think of each day as something I have to "get through" instead of learn from and enjoy. Thanks, Ze Frank, you weird freakish beautiful man, for reminding me of this today.

I saw the same baggies of water in Haiti. They must be easier to transport, or cheaper, or have some government mandate for use for their own privilege. Or all three.

Also, I don't think I ever saw a happier child than when I gave a Haitian boy one of my bottles of water. It was like a kid here in America receiving a Game Boy. Really makes you think.

I love radiolabs, but it's unfortunate that this article was a much more interesting story than the boy they chose to talk about on the show. Not their fault, of course.

I'm new here, but I've really started to enjoy this place. Great content and I'm seeing familiar faces already in the comment threads.

It's probably not warm caramel that they use, but some other type of candy that hardens when exposed to air/cold/some other environmental stimulus.

I listened to only the first story of that episode yesterday (about the man who escaped from jail many times), and while reading this article kept thinking how perfect of a story it would be for "Escape". Now I'm even more excited to listen to the rest, and another story about another phreak. Very interesting phenomenon that I was completely unaware of.

I wouldn't be able to smother it, but I would ask someone else to do it. That might make me an even more awful person, I'm not really sure, but I don't think I'd be able to do it myself.
mitzy  ·  4438 days ago  ·  link  ·    ·  parent  ·  post: Google+ users spend increasingly less time on site
The only thing I have any use for it anymore is the video chat sessions (for meetings and such), which it does a great job at. I really tried to use it more, but it's just not "sticky" enough for the time being.
