This morning I just learned that I'll need to fight my previous landlord in order to get my security deposit back. In an unsurprising turn of events, my psychotic hoarder ex-housemate played their role perfectly and trashed the place before skipping town. My lawyer thinks I have a strong case, which is the first good news I've gotten since I was driven out of the house by the aforementioned ex-housemate. Does anyone know of any quiet, walkable mountain towns with affordable real estate? I suddenly find myself inspired to own my own place.
This is basically revisionist history by the kind of 'enlightened' conservatives who don't want to admit they're just partisan Republicans. It's interesting that the respondents focus on foreign policy, the least objectionable of Trump's policies. Actual voters consistently care very little about foreign policy and these issues, according to exit polls. The top issues for most voters are the economy, racial inequality, crime and safety, and healthcare policy, all areas where Trump's record is much harder to defend. We hired Trump to do a job, and he has done it very well.
The learning curve of climbing makes it so much fun. From one novice climber to another, stick with it! You'll be sending routes you previously thought impossible in no time.
I'm mostly here to read comments by kleinbl00 and the books he recommends. I really appreciate that he challenges my thinking in a non-confrontational way.
You've got the timeline backwards. It was a legitimate term used to describe political disinformation which was coopted by Trump and his supporters.
I like "vouch." It's used on Hacker News for a similar feature.
This article is actually about Onion Services on Tor, not "dark web" sites which are an entirely different thing. Onion Services are notoriously transient, so fluctuations like this are to be expected. You would need much more long term sampling to establish any kind of trend in the number of sites.
Why not just relax laws against squatting and eminent domain? Those vacant houses will be occupied before you know it.
I prefer to buy my artwork directly from the artists. This often means meeting them at an art fair or at the merch booth of a concert. Lately, as I've been meeting more young artists who are early in their careers, I've been commissioning new pieces that fill a need in my life. I consider this money well spent, as I'm supporting an artist and also getting something pretty to show off.
I think this site only continues to improve as it grows. In regards to donations, I've been waiting years to help support Hubski. A wise man once said, "don't be a free user."
I highly recommend that everyone install uBlock Origin to deal with nasty web junk like this. It will handle just about all ads and social tracking bugs that can disrupt your browsing experience.
