Floater will perpetually be one of my favorite bands.

If I had to do a top 5, I'd go with (in no particular order) Floater Pink Floyd The Doors Dave Brubeck Billie Holliday

Thanks! That old jersey is beat to hell, got it years ago at my first concert, Dropkick Murphys.

I met my partner on OKCupid about three years ago.

Anyone with a TV or internet connection knows why Adria Richards is in the public eye.

Do I agree with her actions? No. Do her actions warrant rape and death threats? Fuck no.

Definitely one of their better albums. Waiting for the Sun is on that album; it's the only The Doors cover I've ever heard that was better than the original. Angels in the Flesh and Devils in the Bone is also a great album, bookended by Endless I and Endless II, a couple of their most powerful songs IMO.

I'd describe 'em as a blend of Pink Floyd and Tool. Their style is pretty varied and their latest album Wake is pretty solid.

You got hockey first! And hockey is kickass.

Floater - Independence Day has been stuck in my head as of late.

Who said it would work? I just think unrepentant assholes deserve to be publicly shamed.

As another commenter posted out above, some folk just aren't receptive to polite requests not to be an asshole. In these cases, I fully endorse public shaming.

I'm with you on this one; there's already a lot of talk online about social exclusion of Glass wearers.

It's another neophobe vs. neophiles thing. New technologies change society in ways we can't predict, and that's either exciting or terrifying depending on how you view it.

Nice timing with Google's "Treasure Map" feature today.

I can understand not wanting it for yourself, but why does this extend to your friends? I'm going to guess the privacy issues some people seem to be so up in arms about?

If I ever made another, I'd consider it. This one took the better part of two days to cut and sew, I don't even wanna think about how long it would take to stick spines everywhere!

I'm pretty proud of the twelve foot patchwork denim cactus I made. It, along with twenty smaller (6' and 3.5') denim cacti were featured at the grand opening of ESPRIT's flagship NYC store.

This ain't my first rodeo, believe me.

Biking can be great, or it can be shit. Depends on the city. I live in one of the top 10 bike friendly cities in the US, so despite the shitty winters up here, it's actually quite nice.

I like this idea. I'm now considering making similar stickers, but with a bicycling bent -- I Park in the Bike Lane, maybe.
