Depends what you're after, and whether you have the capability to seed your torrents with regularity. There are prominent (within the community), safe private trackers for music, games, books, movies and tv (and porn, I suppose) to begin with -- and almost every other niche you can think of. All with much higher admission standards than TPB. The learning curve is pretty high and for a lot of people it's not worth it, but I've been tagged off TPB before and having to sift to find high quality gets tiring. reddit.com/r/trackers is a surprisingly good place to start, especially the sidebar. What are you after specifically?
