i don't know why anyone brings this up. the number of birds/bats killed by windmills pales in comparison to the number of that are killed by flying into windows or hitting cars. and of course fossil fuel pollution kills many more. and forgive me if this is not the case here, but many people who bring up this point seem to not care about wildlife in any other context. it's often a farcical point made by people who are simply opposed to windfarms for some other reason and are running out of convincing arguments.
