I grew up watching pretty much all the Godzilla movies 5 times each (thanks to my Sci-Fi loving Grandma). This film is ok but not that great IMO due to the fact the monster is like a different version of Biollante but with aliens not a rose plant. Side note, though 1998 film gets a lot flak but I enjoy it as a monster film (just not a Godzilla one). Funny enough the I took a Sci-Fi art class with the instructor that did the 1998 design. Cool guy and hearing how he went about the design based on the script was pretty enlightening. Love these posts BTW.
