Writing science stuff for Forever Labs today. I'm working on this painting, and I am not sure where I am going with it. It's a bit flat atm. I'm kind of just painting, and waiting for the urge to commit to something. I visited my uncle on Sunday, and discovered that he had my dad's recurve bow. It's a #40 Bear Grizzly, probably made in around 1970-76, and is in perfect shape. Apparently they are highly rated bows. I ordered a new string, some arrows and a quiver. He also had my old #15 bow, which my daughter inherited. She's getting a string, arrows, and quiver too. Yesterday a FedEx truck took out our Subaru as it was parked on the street. The frame looks bent. The driver ran, but luckily a woman saw it happen and called it in. Several hours later, my wife was driving my daughter and her friend back from dance lessons, and smash; she slid on ice, hit the car in front of her, and the car behind her hit her. The Prius is fucked. The trunk buckled. Two cars ruined in one day.
