I was an early fan. A friend of mine saw him live in Ann Arbor. I could have gone. Should have gone. I was in high school. He was immensely talented. Just getting started, really. His guitar playing is often over shadowed by his amazing voice, but it shouldn’t be. He was a big fan of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan which helped shape his vocal stylings. Kwali signing.
