I genuinely wonder whether this is actually their reason or if it is an excuse for their incompetence. If I'd bet my horses, I'd bet it on automated trucks hitting the market before passenger vehicles. You only need a marginally profitable business case for the former to become big, and trucks can much more easily become automated like planes already are.But we believe delivering on self-driving for passenger applications first, and then bringing it to freight applications down the line, is the best path forward.
