I spent a year hanging out with a bunch of junkies. I was genuinely surprised when I met someone who'd been a tweaker. To quote the philosopher Nas, "Life's a bitch and then you die, That's why we get high, 'Cause you never know when you're gonna go." I would be surprised if all forms of addiction weren't on the rise at the moment considering the apparent beliefs of the hardcore Trump base.
