The only thing I seem to be stuck with is video purchases. What I want is to pay for DRM-free movies I can download and keep for as long as my computer or backups survive. I seem to be stuck with iTunes for now. Otherwise I think I'm free to make any change. I like not being stuck in an ecosystem.
