I got a great Idea! THE BEST IDEA! Let's build homes on the side of a canyon that funnels winds up to 60MPH, IN A FUCKING DESERT, then sue the fire department when they want to do controlled burns because it will make the hillsides ugly.

Yes, they litigated and fought over aesthetics Page 94, hopefully the link. This was in 1987 when they were building out the area. Firefighters and forestry management wanted to do controlled burns and clearings. They went to court and tied everything up for seemingly forever.
