I saw the headline earlier, and just sort of sighed. But the more I think about it, I think one way or another that by the time my daughter can vote (about 15 years), our country is going to look pretty different from the way it does now. People as a group will always take the easy way out. They don't improve until it costs more not to (and sometimes not even then).
