My intuition is that a coffee farmer in Brazil makes a helluva lot less than a cattle rancher in Brazil. Having difficulty finding financial figures that are reliable, though. If that's the case, that's my point, that a coffee trade industry sure as hell wouldn't be able to convince farmers to switch to a crop that will make them less money.
