strangely... and I don't know how to put this without sounding a little douchtag-y... When I saw them... I had a bit of cognitive dissonance.... My wife and I were in the car, heading to lunch... stopped at a stoplight near work (which is not in a nice neighborhood (think Pontiac in the mid-80s) and I saw this 30ish looking caucasian woman with the EarPod sticking out from under her beanie. I pointed and said hey look - the new apple headphone thingssss....... and cocked my head a little to the side because... she looked.... almost homeless? so at the risk of sounding douchey myself.... yah - there you have it... I saw a woman who looked borderline homeless, in a not-so-great neighborhood, rocking $160 wireless headphones... *disclaimer - Colorado is known for some granola types... she was likely NOT homeless.... but it was just not the commercial Apple hoped it would be.
