Glad you liked it, completely forgot I recommended it to you! Audible has been recommending me p53 and The Cancer Chronicles, but I'm currently in a fiction mood, so I haven't taken much of a look. Let me know if you end up jumping into either of them. The bit of Emperor that sticks out in my brain a few months later is the bit on radical mastectomies and how that area of surgery went scientifically unchecked for a surprisingly long period of time. Even in the present, I've seen writers for sciencebasedmedicine.org admit that surgery still has plenty of un/under-studied procedures that are just taken as effective without being compared to other treatments / placebo.
