Is it, though? Is it? For the record, I agree almost categorically with Mr. Orwell. His only fault is a predictable bias toward the Commonwealth.But more importantly, you seem to support the idea of linguistic relativity, which holds that the language one speaks can affect one’s thought processes. And that’s just hogwash.
