People are jumping to way too many conclusions way too quickly here.

I love how a few days ago brown was an all holy, innocent, teen, painted in a bad right and ended horribly by this cop shooting a college bound student.

Now it's "a dumbass teenager" who didn't deserve to be shot.

Does it fucking matter? What is wrong here is that a cop shot an unarmed man to death, should you be so inclined you can go on to say that fear may have very been racially-steriotypically inspired. Who cares if the kid had stolen some stuff?

Then all this bullshit about police being militarized. This use of teargas, this shooting of protesters is not new, and it isn't recent. Look up what happened in the 70's with the anti-war protesters. Exact same situation.

The police are reacting and doing as they are trained to do against violent protesters. They are not currently acting in the wrong. The stories you hear are often sensationalized or false. "police tear gassing innocent protesters"! the news agencies cry, when in reality those "innocent" protesters were throwing rocks, and generally not being quite so innocent.

People need to calm down and wait for all the information to work itself out before getting angry, crying foul, etc. All this yelling and protesting isn't going to help anything, and will actively set back any moment if the info comes out and situations are not as they seem.
