I don't think a change is necessary. Just sharing my opinion.

I don't especially agree or disagree with anyone in this thread, I just think you're all overthinking the concept of 'unfollow guilt'. A lot of us are friends here, so unfollowing could get personal -- but the users I am tempted to unfollow are almost always people who initially contribute a lot but then vanish forever. It's such an outlier for someone to be unfollowed for a different reason that spending time thinking on changes strikes me as a waste.

So, you should all deal with it? I guess that's what I'm saying, but hopefully politer.
