Haha, yep, sounds awful. The abundance of music technology we have access to in this age really is amazing. I actually did my dissertation on 'How The Coming of The Digital Age Changed Appproaches To Composition' (which got my highest mark out of the whole 3 years) so feel free to read that if you have time for about 9000 words.

I was also reminded of Alvin Lucier's "I'm sitting In a Room". He records himself speaking and then plays it back into the room whilst he re-records it.
