Yes, you are supposed to stick to one genre. I feel as if it would be awkward to transition from one genre to another in the span of just 8-12 songs.one genre only feels really restrictive, assuming that most people listen to music in more than one genre.
That's why we'll hold these swaps every other week. You can post your favorite genres over time, which will help keep this little community alive. I have no plans for #musicswap to be a one time type of deal.
